Lisa Allen, MSW is the Founder and President of “Those Eyes Can Heal, Inc.” Those Eyes Can Heal, Inc. is an organization which assist children and caregivers affected by a loss due to community violence, long-term incarceration, and other losses. She is married and a mother of three.
Lisa has over a decade of experience in non-profit program management. She currently, is also the co-owner of L & E Innovative Business Solutions which she co-owns with her husband that specializes in nonprofit management consulting i.e., organizational development, supporting newly formed organizations with implementing evidenced based practices, strategic planning and positive outcome driven program development.
In addition, Lisa is the co-owner of L & E Creative Opulence which creates custom designs. She currently is a therapist working with adults and families at Trust Therapeutics( located in Boston Massachusetts), who experience a variety of mental health diagnosis. She is an experienced outpatient clinician, providing individual, and family therapy with both adolescent and adult populations.
Lisa began her social service career providing therapeutic supports to individuals living in various group homes who are struggling with substance use disorders, and/or mental health challenges. Lisa has directed residential group homes ranging from children (latency, adolescent), women with children, and adult residential facilities within Western Massachusetts.
Lisa holds a Masters in Social Work with Phi Alpha National Honors Society and a Bachelor of Science in Human Services, Magna Cum Laude both from Springfield College located in Springfield, Massachusetts. .
